Join Penrith City Council for a Walk Against Violence along the Nepean River Walk as part of 16 Days of Activism.
This powerful community event is your chance to show support for a future free from gender-based violence. Walk alongside friends, family, schools, workplaces, and community groups to make a visible, united stand.
At the end of the Walk, visit the Hero Tree—a symbolic space where you can write a personal pledge on a leaf-shaped tag and add it to the branches. Each pledge is a promise to listen, speak up, and support those in need. Together, these commitments grow into a powerful display of courage, respect, and solidarity.

Location: Meet at the blue tree Nepean Avenue, Penrith
Route: 1.3km commencing at the blue tree at the end of Nepean Avenue and finishing at Tench Reserve.
