The purpose of this breakfast is to raise awareness and community consciousness that violence against women and children cannot be tolerated.
This is a partnership event, planned and coordinated by Blue Mountains City Council and the Blue Mountains Coalition Against Violence and Abuse (CAVA).
This event will increase awareness of the impact of domestic and family violence on women and children, and how we can all take action to prevent violence.
The full program will be announced shortly. Attendees will hear from a range of speakers including:

- Members of the Blue Mountains Coalition Against Violence and Abuse (CAVA).
- Members of EViE – Ending Violence improving Equality

The annual Mayoral Breakfast against gender-based violence is the launch of Council’s 16 Days of Activism campaign, which features a calendar of community events that promote an end to violence against women and children.
