The Blue Mountains Women’s Health & Resource Centre provides a wide range of health and support services, groups and activities to women of the Blue Mountains.

Blue Mountains Women’s Health and Resource Centre was established in 1981 to provide health services to women in the Blue Mountains. Since then we have expanded to provide a wide range of health and support services, groups and activities.
The Centre is managed by a community-based management committee made up of women from the community who contribute their time on a voluntary basis.
We employ professional staff who provide a range of health and social services including free women’s health clinics, counselling, acupuncture, massage therapy, information and referral. We provide a wide range of women’s groups and run women’s key events throughout the year. We have a free library service and provide free child-minding for women who are accessing our services. Appointments are required for most services.
The service encourages low-income women, sole parents, women from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Non-English speaking background, lesbians, women who are disabled or who have other special needs to use the Centre and its services.
The Centre is accessible and welcoming but let us know if you are having difficulty accessing our services.
Parking and entry is at the rear of the building.
Fees are charged for most services on a sliding scale basis. You assess the level of payment for you. Speak to your practitioner if you are having trouble paying.
We welcome your feedback about our services and appreciate your ideas about where and how we can improve.
